I have constant digestive issues. Will eating certain foods help me?
Yes. Many times, common digestive complaints of bloating, gas, constipation, and diarrhea have a food component to the issue. Clients with gluten intolerance or Celiac may not be able to tolerate foods with gluten. Other times, clients who have IBS may benefit from eliminating foods with specific carbohydrate sugars for a period of time. Often, selecting foods which are GI-friendly can eliminate many undesirable gut health symptoms in just a matter of a few weeks. The digestion nutrient-based eating plan is designed to fuel your body and gut with targeted nutrients clinically shown to help optimize gut health.
Can eating specific foods actually help eliminate some of my symptoms?

If specific foods caused your health issues, wouldn’t it make sense you can possibly reverse your symptoms by eating a different way? Thousands of clinical studies are now published that display how effective specific foods and nutrients are to help with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, depression, Chron’s, Colitis, autoimmune disorders, and many other health-related issues. What’s the difference between Nutrevo Body’s nutrient-based eating plan and other popular diets?
The main difference is Nutrevo Body’s nutrition plans are not one-size-fits-all and we focus on whole foods which are infused with specific nutrients to help overcome specific wellness conditions. With most diets, everyone has to follow the same type of eating patterns, restriction of foods, and set of rules. Various wellness conditions demand specific nutrients to help overcome the issue. A client with a thyroid health concern should be consuming specific foods that help naturally nourish the thyroid while a person who is seeking to gain an extra edge in fitness performance should be eating another set of foods that increase muscle mass and strength.
Do I have to count calories or track macronutrients?
No! Nutrient-based eating incorporates whole food sources of nutrients which target specific wellness conditions. By unlocking the power behind healing foods, you are focusing on food quality rather than food quantity for the most part.
Are the food plans 500-800 calorie diets?
No. Nutrient-based eating focuses more on food quality rather than food quantity. If you are trying to lose weight, consuming less calories than you burn is highly recommended but that is only one part of the equation. The quality of foods is what helps sustain results long-term.

You only need to follow the nutrition guides, log your biometrics, and take photos of your meals each day and the nutrition team will provide weekly feedback on your progress and foods.
Do I have to restrict specific food groups or particular foods in my nutrient-based eating plan?
Every client is different based on their goals, symptoms, and wellness condition. Nutrevo Body believes food is medicine. With some clients, limiting or avoiding specific foods may help with their overall health while other clients can eat that food with no problem. Sometimes, you will be able to eat your favorite foods but just with a healthy twist.
What happens if I don’t like the foods in my meal plan?
During your first month on the plan, you will receive four weeks of meals plans, recipes, and shopping lists. On average, this should include about 20 different dinners, 10 unique breakfast choices, and multiple snack and side options. Based on your food tastes and preferences, you may substitute any meal option with a similar style food option of your choice.
Can I go out to restaurants on the nutrient-based eating plan?
Yes! Nutrient-based eating is not a diet and as such, you can go to restaurants and still enjoy meals while sticking to a nutrient-based eating plan.
Does it cost a lot to go grocery shopping on the nutrient-based eating plan?
Many times, we see clients eat out almost every day of the week and fill their pantry with expensive and non-nutritious foods. Our nutrition team tries to recommend meal plans that are simple and cost effective. Depending on what foods, spices, and herbs you currently have in the refrigerator and pantry can determine the amount of grocery items you may need and the overall cost of eating. Shopping at discount grocery stores such as Aldi’s or substituting with ingredients you currently have in the pantry can help decrease the overall cost to grocery shopping.
